They're the heart of Balagne, the place where hundreds (if not thousands) of people love to gather. We're talking, of course, about the markets, places of life and conviviality like no other.
Markets in Balagne are a tradition. We go from father to son (and mother to daughter), with a smile on our faces, knowing we're in for a good time. We often (if not always) meet up with acquaintances, friends and family, with whom we love to chat and talk about the little wonders we've just found.
The inimitable and incomparable local produce, of course (figatelli, brocciu, coppa, lonzu, myrtle, canistrelli, not forgetting the famous olive oil), but also quality clothing and even works of art (paintings, sculptures, notably at the Île-Rousse covered market)! There really is something for everyone...
The producers are friendly and easy to talk to. They talk loudly, they sing... they live! Joy and good humor reign supreme.

- Clothing, equipment and accessories: 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month, all day, Ortacce parking lot, opposite Super U.
- "U Picculu Mercatu", regional products and crafts: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays (April and October) and Tuesdays to Sundays (June to late September), 8am to 1pm, Marché Couvert.
Calvi in summer
